Clifton ShallowBaths Series Unstirred Water Baths

Overview

Bath comes complete with a removable Clifton "low" height stainless steel perforated shelf.

Comprising of a high quality corrosion resistant stainless steel tank, with a bright clean finish housed in a durable paint finished outer case. Painted surfaces feature anti-bacterial finish with good chemical resistance.

Heaters and temperature sensor concealed under the tank providing a clutter free working area easy to wipe clean. The heating footprint covers the underside base of the tank, providing rapid energy transfer, quicker heat up times and a reduction in energy consumption with improved temperature uniformity.

For molecular-biology procedures these baths can be used for dry incubation using Bath Armor - see accessories. This unique dry media supports tubes, micro tubes, vials of various shapes and sizes without blocks, racks or floats or weights. This method of no water heating produces no water borne contamination normally associated with water baths. Also no more emptying, cleaning and refilling with water resulting in a more productive lab.
