Cy5 GFP mRNA has been designed to produce high expression level of Green Fluorescent Protein. It can be used as control of transfection efficiency.
When labeled with Cy5, F-Luc mRNA can be easily traced to analyze mRNA delivery and translation efficiency.
OZ Biosciences mRNAs are produced by in vitro transcription and stabilized at the 5’ end by modified nucleotides capping (Cap1). These mature mRNAs contain a poly(A) tail at the 3’ end and are also optimized to yield improved stability and performance.
Cy5 GFP mRNAs:

#MRNA15c does not bear any additional nucleotide modifications and is labelled with Cy5 (Sulfo-Cyanine5) by replacing 15 % of U.

#MRNA11c is modified with 5-methoxyuridine (5moU) and labelled with Cy5 (Sulfo-Cyanine5) by replacing 15 % of moU by UTP-Cy5.
We recommend using our transfection reagents RmesFect or RmesFect Stem in order to reach high transfection efficiency and optimum protein expression level.
