The DA 7440 is installed and used at many agri & food production sites worldwide. These are a few examples of its applications.
- Grain-based foods - A wide variety of food products like cookies, crackers, pasta, noodles and breakfast cereals can be measured in real-time for parameters such as moisture, fat, temperature and others. The measurements are used to control processes such as baking, frying and drying.
- Dairy products - Measure fat, moisture, protein and more in any dairy product transported on conveyor belts or similar. Installation examples include cheese blocks.
- Snack foods - Measure moisture, fat, and seasonings in snack food production to optimize frying and seasoning addition.
- Tobacco - Determine moisture, nicotine and sugars in real-time in leaves as well as processed tobacco. Stable moisture readings with no need for adjustments when you switch to producing a new blend.
Information Integration
By integrating the instrument into the SCADA system, the operator can see the results in a familiar operating environment. Further, the results are available for automated controls and reporting through a central reports system. The DA 7440 offers a range of communication options including:
