Overview
DreamFect™ Transfection Reagent is based on an innovative biochemical method. It contains both a lipidic part and a cationic part allowing the association of nucleic acids with this transfection reagent and their delivery inside cells.
Due to its unique properties, DreamFect™ releases large DNA amounts in the cytosol increasing DNA nuclear delivery (TEE Technology). Consequently, DreamFect™ is highly efficient at low doses of nucleic acids. Therefore, less cationic lipids are used and the potential secondary effects are avoided.

Results
Figure 1: DreamFect transfection efficiency in various cell lines.
1x105 cells were transfected with 0.5 μg / well of pEGFP plasmid DNA in 24-well plates. Percentage of transfected cells was measured 24h post transfection by flow cytometry.
Figure 2: Comparison of DreamFect efficiency with other transfection reagents.
Cell lines (1x105 cells / well) were transfected with 1 μg of pLuc plasmid DNA and 3 μL of DreamFect Gold reagent per well in a 24-well plate. The other transfection reagents were assayed according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
