Small volume measurements made simple with the Mini DipTip™ microliter sampling probe.
Mini DipTip™s outer diameter is only 1.5 mm—the size of a 17-gauge needle. It will fit into all micro centrifuge tubes on the market and is a useful tool for measuring protein and DNA samples. The diminutive dipping probe can also be used for a dissolution system.
Microliter samples can be analyzed cost effectively when you combine the Mini DipTip with one of the following:
The Fiber optic-based spectrometer (Tidas-E Base Series Photo Diode Array Spectrometer) and a light source (D2H and FO-6000)
A spectrophotometer (Tidas S300 Series e.g. pn 505067)
The Mini DipTip is ideal for multi-channel applications.
Compatible with fiber optic spectrometers, fiber optic light sources, and fiber optic spectrophotomers (SMA 905)
2, 5 and 10mm light pathlengths available
DNA samples (with a sample volume of 50µL inside mini centrifuge PCR vials) were measured in PBS with concentrations between 0 and 43µg/mL using a Tidas 100 spectrophotometer.
